Lies
Fill the room.
Well
The part that isn’t filled by you.
True
Your ego is considerable
Still
I’d like to know where these
Lies
were hiding long ago.
Then
You showed a different soul
Now
You flaunt your devil’s gold.
Why
Would you just flat out
Lie
on that couch looking up at me
Said
“I play No games,” kiss me now.
I
Should have picked up on this inevitable
Frown.
